Cardio/Weight Area

The second floor of the Recreation & Fitness Center features:

  • Cardiovascular Equipment: Treadmills, Bikes, Ellipticals, Rowers, Elliptical Crosstrainers, and Stepmills.
  • Selectorized Weight Equipment: Pin loaded and extremely user friendly.
  • Plate loaded/ Free weights with urethane plates and easy grip handles.
  • Cardio-theater on television sets located in the cardiovascular and free weight areas for your viewing and listening pleasure (personal headphones required).

Cardiovascular/Selectorized Equipment

  • No one under the age of 16 admitted.
  • Towels required.
  • Cell phone use prohibited while using machines and/or equipment.
  • Allow others to work in a set while utilizing selectorized equipment.
  • Gym wipes available for your convenience.
  • Wipe perspiration off equipment.
  • Do not slam weights.
  • Return all machines to start position.
  • 30-minute limit (including warm-up and cool-down) if others are waiting for cardio equipment.
  • Keep noise level to a minimum.
  • Headphones required for TV listening.
  • Do not change TV channels.
  • Do not chew gum.
  • Gym/book bags are not permitted.
  • No food or beverage allowed (except water).

Free Weight Area

  • No one under the age of 16 admitted.
  • Towels required.
  • Do not use cell phones while exercising.
  • Do not slam weights.
  • Safety clip required.
  • Re-rack weights and dumbbells.
  • Allow others to work in a set while utilizing free weight equipment.
  • Gym wipes available for your convenience.
  • Wipe perspiration off equipment.
  • Spotter required.
  • Lift within your limits.
  • Keep noise level to a minimum.
  • Do not change TV channel.
  • Do not chew gum.
  • Gym/book bags are not permitted.
  • No food or beverage allowed (except water.)
