Flag Football Nationals

On behalf of The University of New Orleans and the Department of Recreation & Intramural Sports, we are thrilled to invite ALL PARTICIPANTS to the 30th Anniversary of the ACIS National Flag Football Championships to be held Sunday, December 28 through Wednesday, December 31, 2008. The tournament will once again take place at the same beautiful Lafreniere Park that was utilized in 2007.

Beginning with the inaugural event 30 years ago, the championship’s staff has been dedicated to ensuring that the participants of the past 29 tournaments have not only had the opportunity to achieve the “championship victory”, but also the chance to see the great city of New Orleans, make new friends, and build memories that will last a lifetime.

As the 30th anniversary of consecutive flag football championships hosted by The University of New Orleans draws near, we want to assure you that this milestone will not only present you with the opportunity to compete against some of the country’s most competitive players; but you will also be a part of some exciting activities that we have planned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the championships.
